Phase I of German-American Cultural Center Completed


The German-American Cultural Foundation of Wisconsin, Inc. is expanding our facilities in the greater Milwaukee metropolitan area at the Schwabenhof, Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Phase I of the expansion - completed at the end of 2005 - includes a central kitchen for major events, sports locker room facilities and restrooms for nine soccer fields and improvements on the 27 wooded acres surrounding the facility. Phase II is beginning now. Phase II focuses on building a comprehensive cultural center to include a rotunda, a museum, library and gift shop, major conference facilities, a lower level Rathskeller, a media center, a broadcast center, and numerous meeting rooms. The entire complex with its facilities and attractions will result in a world-class cultural/business/meeting/conference center - “The German-American Cultural Center at the Schwabenhof.
